Washington Latin Public Charter Schools, in partnership with the Cornell Club of Washington, invites you to an afternoon honoring Hunter R. Rawlings III, former President of Cornell University and former President of the Association of American Universities. Dr. Rawlings’ connection to Washington Latin was made possible through Bill Clausen, Cornell Class of 2005 and a Latin faculty member and administrator, whose vision brought him into the school community. Join us to celebrate the dedication of the Hunter Rawlings Reading Room at Washington Latin’s Cooper Campus—a new space honoring Dr. Rawlings and this meaningful partnership. The event also offers an opportunity to connect with Cornell alumni across the DC area and experience the permanent home of Washington Latin’s second campus. The afternoon will include remarks, tours, and refreshments. We hope you will join us as we celebrate Dr. Rawlings’ legacy and this special moment for the Washington Latin community.
